HEL
LO
to our favourite people / ons liefste mense!
We’re so excited to step into married life — and even more thrilled to be celebrating this moment with all of you by our side!
By the time we say "I do" in July 2026, we’ll have shared 10 incredible years — and there’s no better way to honour that than with the people who’ve supported us, shaped us, and made life that much sweeter.
We can’t wait to celebrate the start of our next chapter at the beautiful Château de La Bourlie - the perfect place for 3 days of lekker kuier, stunning countryside, good food and a generally fabulous party. Come eat, drink and shake a leg with us!
With all our love
Meg & Marco

WELCOME TO THE CHATEAU
ting the scene
Château de la Bourlie is a beautiful 14th-century estate in the Dordogne, France, surrounded
by rolling hills and where the summers are warm and sunny.
Once a medieval fortress, it was transformed over the centuries into an elegant country home filled with history and charm.
It feels like something straight out of a fairytale —and is soon to be our wedding venue!

TRAVEL & TAXIS
For those flying in, the nearest airports are Bergerac, Bordeaux, and Limoges.
Bergerac Airport is the closest, about 1 hour (55 km) from Urval. Bordeaux Airport is roughly 2 hours (170 km) away, and Limoges Airport is around 2.5 hours (165 km).
We recommend hiring a car as the château and surrounding villages are beautifully rural with limited public transport. The drive through the Dordogne countryside is scenic and easy to navigate—plus, it’s the perfect way to explore the region during the weekend!
There is also a train for any guests flying into Bordeaux or Bergerac to Siorac-en-Perigord which is then just a 10 minute drive from the Chateau.
The Chateau has ample parking if you’d like to leave your car at any point during the weekend. We also strongly recommend pre-booking taxis ahead of the weekend for the events over the weekend.
For the taxis, we can recommend the following numbers:
Julien (+33608949224)
Florian (+33679309156)
Bellec (+33786486969)
FAQS
Are children invited?
While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that our wedding celebration be an adults-only occasion. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the evening with us to the fullest.
Due to the château’s rural location and guests staying in various nearby spots, we won’t be providing a shuttle service. We kindly ask everyone to arrange their own taxis or transport in advance. Local taxi services can get busy, so it’s best to book ahead to ensure a smooth journey home after the celebrations!
Is there a shuttle Service provided during the weekend?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. We truly don’t
need anything more—just having you celebrate with us means the world so we kindly
